Blends can bring out the very best in a wine. Usually dominated by one varietal, the edges are softened and a multi-regional approach can provide for a beautiful drinking experience. Our blends are all distinctive in their dominant varietals, place and approach. Leviathan from famed winemaker Andy Erickson is a very approachable, exceptionally good value wine that is dominated by beautiful Coombsville Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a multiAVA blend and is wonderful to enjoy with a range of foods or even as an individual glass. The Keep is a fascinating blend of Grenache, Charbono and Petite Syrah. The underlying varietals are big and bold but this blend is dreamy and exotic. What masterful blending from Peter Heitz. Finally the Bordeaux Blend from Sandar & Hem is a Merlot dominant wine that expresses itself in an elegant, Old World style with a New World sensibility. I really enjoyed tasting this wine and I am thrilled to have it to share in a market with a long history of importing Right Bank Bordeaux.
