Seabold Grenache Blanc Mission Ranch 2019
A tropically-fruited expression, with juicy guava, papaya, fresh pear, persimmon, and agave nectar. The palate is broad and waxy, highlighting banana oil, white pepper, and a salty walnut oil finish.
Perfect with salad, cheese, nuts and olives. Chicken satay and green peppers would be a dreamy pairing.
Fine Disregard Mataro Vineyards Costa County 2019
Deep purple and earthy with hints of tart fruit and brambles. Light but with nice sturdy tannin. The Pato Vineyard was planted around the turn of the 20th century in the renowned Delhi Blow Sands of Contra Costa County about two miles inland from the California Delta.
Lovely with kebobs, beef burgers and sausage.
Shypoke Rosé Of Charbono 2019
A fuller bodied and well balanced wine, with pomegranate and darker red fruits such as cherry expressing themselves in the wine. In a wine world filled with walls of pink, this Rosé stands on its own in style as well as varietal expression.
Potentially a perfect rose for BBQ. Fuller bodied with structure and a little age which has rounded out the components to make truly culinary rose fit for charcuterie and cream based dishes. Grilled fish would be amazing as would prawns. This rare heirloom varietal is worth exploring as your go to BBQ rose.
