DeSante L’Atelier 2020

The DeSante 2020 L’ Atelier is a celebration of summer with its aromas of nectarine, key lime and green gage plum. The palate shows a deft balance with its crisp spiced apple and peach flavors turning gently to a succulent finish of red grapefruit. For a wine, this is a fancy balancing act of fresh acidity turning to a richly textured finish. Our 2020 is a blend of the following organic farmed (CCOF) grapes: Semillon 30%, Pinot Blanc 30%, Chardonnay 30%, Sauvignon Blanc 10%.

Haarmeyer St. Rey Chenin Blanc 2021

Sutter Ranch Vineyard This vineyard is located deep in the delta in the southernmost part of the Clarksburg AVA where the average temperature is lower than that of the northern end and of the Lodi AVA to the east. The wind howls through the vineyard bringing cool marine air that tempers the summer heat. The third pick is for the young Chenin that we call ‘SRV’. We look for a nexus of acidity, sweetness, flavor, and phenolic ripeness in order to produce Chenin Blanc that exceeds the expectations of Sacramento Delta wine.
