“The Crab” A Collaboration Kiona Vineyards 2022

“The Crab” A Collaboration Kiona Vineyards 2022

£61.20 Inc VAT

Oregon Pinot Noir and Washington Lemberger have come together to form a rare wine in style, texture and taste.  The Pinot Noir is from the Johan Vineyard in Willamette Valley Oregon and the Lemberger from Red Mountain Washington and the Kiona Estate Vineyard.  A beguiling wine with a beautiful crab emerging from a peony.  Perhaps intended to trick the mind into seeing one thing but actually springing from another.

Description

Kiona traded some estate-grown Red Mountain Cabernet Franc and Malbec with the fine folks at Björnson Estate. This ton-for-ton swap enabled Kiona to experiment with cultivars not typically found in our estate-grown repertoire.
Kiona Estate Lemberger grape and Johan Pinot Noir produced stunning results.
