Kiona Chenin Blanc Ice Wine 2019 (375 ml)

£37.00 Ex VAT

For decades we’ve produced this Red Mountain version with Chenin Blanc, a grape that showcases well-balanced, crisp acidity and intense tropical fruit characteristic that dances on the tongue. A sensory tour de force that is sure to impress. Dessert wines pair best with foods that are not intrinsically sweet. Hard/sharp cheese, roasted nuts, and fruit-based desserts are simply incredible with a tiddly-wink of quality dessert wine.

Description

375 ml While Red Mountain is known for big, powerful red wines, it’s also an exceedingly good place to grow white varieties. Our Kiona Estate vineyard has four acres of Chenin Blanc planted in a depression, increasing the likelihood of producing Ice Wine. We don’t pick the grapes until they are naturally frozen in the vineyard, a process that concentrates their sugar and flavor to unprecedented levels. Ice Wine is one of the world’s most elusive and delicious elixirs.
