Bates Ranch Rosé 2022

The influence of the Santa Cruz Mountains elevates the flavours of wild strawberry and freshness.  This rosé is dry and yet full of delicate summer fruit.  A rosé worth lingering over. 

The old-vine Grenache vineyard sits on a mid-mountain dome and the south-facing cabernet vineyard includes an upper block planted in 1974 on St. George rootstock with majestic tree-like stature.

Perched high atop the southeast corner of the Santa Cruz Mountains AVA at elevations up to 1000 feet, the steep slopes and shallow gravelly soils of Bates Ranch have yielded stunning wines of great complexity for over four decades.
