Grosgrain Lemberger Petillant Naturel 2023

Lemberger was one of the very first plantings at the Kiona Vineyard back in 1976, and it has long been considered a potential signature grape for Washington State. Today, only around 50 acres are believed to remain planted across the state — making this a genuinely rare find.

Red Mountain is known as a warm region, but this old block of Lemberger sits in a lower, cooler pocket of the vineyard that ripens much later and retains acidity beautifully — exactly what you want for a pétillant naturel. The result is a lively, textured, and utterly distinctive sparkling red that is unlike anything else in your glass.
