Shypoke Rosé of Charbono 2020

Charbono is special — a dying heirloom varietal that is slowly finding new life. Originally hailing from the Savoie and a favourite planting in the Napa Valley in its earliest days, Shypoke’s own Charbono vines have been on their Calistoga Ranch since 1904.

In Rosé form, this singular expression of the varietal is fuller bodied and beautifully balanced, with pomegranate and darker red fruits such as cherry expressing themselves with confidence. In a wine world filled with walls of pale pink, this Rosé stands on its own — in style, in character, and in varietal expression.
