Description
The Dornfelder (part of which is allocated for rose), Blaufrankisch, and Rotburger (Zweigelt) were harvested on the same day. The Blaufrankisch and Dornfelder were co-fermented and the Rotburger on its own. When tasting the wines in the winter, the combo of all three grapes tasted better than the two separate fermentations, and so they were blended to make the RBD.
