Description
Located at the eastern edge of the Columbia Gorge AVA, the Grüner Veltliner vineyard produces wine of great intensity and freshness. Grown in windblown soils overlaying fractured basalt, the vines pull powerful energy and verve from this dynamic terrain. The Columbia River moderates our temperatures and channels the wind across the landscape resulting in vibrant wines of great finesse. Biodynamic vineyard practices allow the purity of the site to be best expressed.
West Balch Ranch is a newer vineyard on a property adjacent to the winery. Biodynamic practices and organic farming.
