Grosgrain Seven Hills Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Seven Hills Vineyard is one of Walla Walla Valley’s most storied sites, planted in 1980 and a cornerstone of the region’s winemaking identity. With this wine, Grosgrain set out to pay homage to the early style of Walla Walla — medium-bodied, moderate in alcohol, and defined by a red-fruited elegance that has become increasingly rare in an era of extraction.
Medium-bodied and ruby-hued, with aromas of black cherry, red plum, mace, cigar box, and tobacco leaf. Approachable now, but with the structure and balance to develop beautifully over the next decade.
