Hunter Glenn Sonoma Chardonnay 2021

A brother and sister duo, born and raised in the Napa Valley, where grape growing and winemaking has been an important part of their lives. He’s the tractor driver, she’s the pencil pusher. Together they focus on the Shifflett Ranch and Hunter Glenn Estate Vineyards to make some of the greatest wines in Napa Valley.

This Chardonnay comes from the Starscape Vineyard — a site whose rolling hills sit along the curve of the Russian River before it meets the Pacific Ocean. The coastal influence is everything here: enveloping morning fog preserves crucial acidity, while warm afternoons provide the perfect environment for phenolic ripening. They feel very lucky to share grapes with some of the best winemakers in California.
