Peay Savoy Pinot Noir 2018

The 44-acre Savoy Vineyard was planted by Richard Savoy in 1991, and current owners FEL have continued to re-plant and invest in its quality. Peay is delighted to produce a Savoy under their label — a wine that nicely complements their estate line-up with a touch more fruit-forwardness and greater approachability in its youth.

What sets the Peay Savoy apart from other expressions of this vineyard is a distinctive floral component, along with winemaker Vanessa’s steady, focused hand on the rudder. The result is a delicious, expressive California Pinot Noir that is a pleasure to drink now and will reward a few more years in the cellar.
