Syncline Grüner Veltliner 2022

Located at the eastern edge of the Columbia Gorge AVA, Syncline’s Grüner Veltliner vineyard produces wine of great intensity and freshness. Grown in windblown soils overlaying fractured basalt, the vines pull powerful energy and verve from this dynamic terrain. The Columbia River moderates temperatures and channels the wind across the landscape, resulting in vibrant wines of great finesse.

The West Balch Ranch — a newer vineyard on a property adjacent to the winery — is farmed biodynamically and organically, allowing the purity of the site to be expressed without compromise. This is Grüner Veltliner as it should be: mineral, fresh, and alive.
